June 5

The Pancho's Racing Products / Viper Motorsports#3v concluded the first of two weekends racing for the Appalachian Mountain Speedweeks.

Round 1: Hagerstown Speedway. Wednesday was a struggle as we were rushing to get to the track and fought new car gremlins all night. Kyle timed in well, and got shuffled in the heat, won the B-Main and advanced forward to a 16th place finish.

Round 2: Susquehanna Speedway. Thursday went really well. Timed in well again, ran 3rd in the heat and secured the teams first top 10 finish with a 7th place run.

Round 3: Bedford Speedway. Timed in well again, and running 4th in our heat lined us up 10th on the grid. Kyle drove to 3rd and ran out of laps on his charge. Kyle was outstanding as Matt from JRI shocks had the car on a rail.

Round 4: Port Royal Speedway. Kyle once again timed the car in well and Team #3v got its first heat race win in heat 2. Redraw the 3 pill for the feature and was running 2nd on lap 28 when a RR Hoosier tire had a manufacturer defect and the chords ripped apart on the inner part of the tire caused us to change tires, come from the tail and got to 16th. Matt from JRI and Bill from Pro Power had that new XR1 / Pro Power flying around the speed palace.

Round 5: Path Valley, Rained Out and will not be made up.

After 4 races, we are sitting in 5th place the speedweek points. That bad tire really hurt us as we would be in the top 2 going into the final two round of the speedweeks. We are still in striking distance, just a little higher mountain to climb.

Thank you to all the supporters who have come together in this effort: Pancho's Racing Products, Viper Risk Management Group, Locomotives, Pro Power Racing Engines, Matt Logan w/ JRI Shocks, Chiarelli Paving, Sable Construction, F&W Grafix, M Teats Transport, Jack Pears & Associates, Keiser Wheels, ML Suspension, PAC Springs, DMI / Bulldog, Pancho's Suzuki, Capitol Renegade, Hoosier Tire, Shaeffers Racing Oil and TWM.

The Martin and Lawler family would like to thank Matt from JRI shocks for making the trip and your support. You have that custom built Rocket XR1 from Pancho's Racing Products car on an absolute rail! Thank you to Bill of Pro Power for making the trip. You build some of the best power plants in the business and those motors get r' done!

Lastly, Kyle Hardy. We never lost faith in your ability and you are flat out getting after it. Forget anyone who thinks otherwise. Watching you have fun racing again is awesome!

Those who have been around and involved in this sport long enough know the countless houses, finances and commitment that these efforts take to get off the ground and keep moving. We are extremely grateful to all the investors and product sponsors who have stepped up and aided in this effort. We are still hoping that a few more investors who want to be a part of this sound effort will emerge. We are lettering at the end of next week and want to make sure everyone who has played a stake in this is extremely well represented.

Lastly, Team Ownership would like to welcome Kyle Hardy of Stephens City, VA as the “Wheel Man” of the newly formed Team # 3v effort! Kyle has made a name for himself racing throughout the Northeast in the past few years and winning some of the regions larger and more prestigious events such as the King of the Knob, Big Kahuna, Thunder Dog 55, Winchester 200, and Conococheague 44. Kyle has also enjoyed some success against the World of Outlaws with a 22nd to 3rd place run at the Gunters Honey 50 at the Potomac Speedway in 2015 as well as a 4th place effort with the Lucas Oil Series at the Roaring Knob Raceway Park in 2015 as well. Kyle has won races at the Hagerstown, Winchester, Potomac, Hesston, Roaring Knob, Dog Hollow and most recently Florence Speedway in his first ever appearance at the race track.

We are all excited for Kyle to get behind the wheel of this new XR1, powered by Pro Power Racing Engines with JRI Shocks and DMI Rearends in a few weeks.
